Office of International Cooperation and Development
The work of the Office of International Cooperation and Development is conducted in accordance with the priority goals of the University: the Office searches for national breakthrough investment projects that involve the participation of foreign partners. There is a constant search, preparation and filing of documents for participation in the projects of Tempus Tacis, Erasmus Mundus, Seventh Framework Programme (FP7), ELC, AUF (Agency of Francophone Universities) and other international programs and projects. The academic and scientific mobility of students and faculty is also constantly being improved.
Academic mobility is carried out based on the dual degree and exchange programmes with an ongoing development of joint undergraduate and graduate programs with foreign universities. The Office is actively involved in the organization and preparation of the University for the international accreditation of educational programs.
Establishment and development of contacts with new foreign higher education institutions for academic, scientific and cultural cooperation and the development of relations with partner institutions is a daily priority of the Office.
The Office is working to improve the image and reputation of the University as well as further integration into the international educational sphere, which includes organization of the work on participation in international academic rankings, preparation of internships of graduate students and young teachers of the University in foreign partner universities, organizational activity for the preparation of international conferences, seminars, workshops, forums and other public university activities, recruitment of foreign experts and co-supervisors of doctoral thesis, organization of online forums, chat conferences and videoconferences with professors and students of foreign partner universities, representatives of international organizations. The Office strives to improve the citation index of the University’s academic and teaching staff, provides assistance in the publication of articles in foreign high impact factor periodicals.
The Office of International Cooperation and Development takes an active part within the framework of the Basic Organization for Languages and Culture of the CIS and the Consortium of Humanities Universities of SCO member states. Projects on joint Master programs are being realized within the framework of the University of SCO.
