The scientific part of the university was developing intensively for the last few years both functionally and structurally.

Research Center of methods and contents of foreign languages’ training - director, senior lecturer Arenova T.V.

In 2001 the postgraduate study on 10 specialties is again licensed, licenses for preparation of contracts on 6 specialties are also received. The magistracy which prepares masters on 6 specialties functions successfully. As the basic part of the certification system of scientific and pedagogical top skill staff three Dissertational Councils are created at the university:

13.00.02 - theory and technique of training and education

13.00.08 - theory and technique of professional education,

Priority research activity directions of SRI, SRC and SRW of the university structural divisions are incorporated within the framework of the common problem «Kazakhstan in the global intercultural and language community» including:

Actual problems of international relations;

The theory and practice of provision of national and collective safety in the modern international relations’ system

The analysis of social and humanitarian researches, communicative problems of education in the context of Globalization;

Research of social cities’ structures;

Development of scientific researches in the field of the intercultural communication and translation theory;

Regularities research of vocational training informatization process;

Development of the theory of communicatively and guided foreign languages training at all stages of Linguistic high school;

Research of innovative technologies and development of the modern theory of foreign languages’ textbook creation;

Development of scientific researches in the field of speech acts theory, modeling of speech system, contrastive linguistics, problem of the language world conceptualization;

Research in the field of social dialogue linguistics and in the field of the theory and practice of pragmatical linguistics.
