Students’ social activities are closely connected with students’ club “Orion”. The mission of the club is to create the conditions to develop intellectual and creative skills of students of the faculty. Club’s activities are based on the following directions: social; cultural; editorial; translational and the debate club. The President of the Club is Aduov Kuanysh.
Strategy of student's club "Orion"
Club "Orion" (further – the Club) is a public association organized for the interests of students and operates within the powers provided by the present SW Regulations of the faculty;
The mission of the club is to create the conditions to develop intellectual and creative skills of students of the faculty.
Objectives are:

• to assist in civil, social and professional self-realization of students;
• to organize the student’s social events, conferences and round tables, exhibitions;
• to lighten the student’s affairs through the Mass Media, etc.

Organizational and social activities of the club are carried out by Board of tutors led by a Senior tutor of the Faculty and Committee on Youth affairs and headed by the pro-rector on SW of the university.

At the meeting of the Organizing Committee

• basic trends of the club activities are defined;
• Club’s annual plan is discussed and approved;
• list of students needed in accommodations, vulnerable students, candidates for nominal scholarship is confirmed and passed to the Faculty Board;

Social activities of the Club is aimed at association with supervisors of the following university departments: International Cooperation, Intermediate State Monitoring for 2 course, students hostel, course tutors and the Faculty Board, the Committee of the Youth Affairs, university’s admission commission;

• collects data base of the club members according to its structure;
• caries out planned campaigns according to approved schedule;
• establishes communications with the Faculty Board, the tutors’ board, and other  university departments in the frame of the basic trends of the club activity;
• realizes the plan of the Club
