Student’s life
Students of our faculty have possibilities to show and realize their management and creative ability, to receive skills of youth leader if you participate in comittee of youth’s problems, student’s self-management, in organization of numerous actions in our faculty and university.
 
Students have possibilities to participate actively in research work, in social, mass- cultural, sport life of university and pulpit, in International and Republican competitions for selected profession.
 
Annually students of the first course take part in “ Student’s initiation” with a program “Shine, shine the star of East!”.
 
 
Faculty’s command of KVN placed the third rate in university’s championship in 2007 year.

Student’s life are not full with study. It’s very interesting with events and fascinating actions, which are hold not only at university, but the outside. Purpose of these events is to maintain students’ interest in their subject, to inoculate a feeling of respect to the country of chosen language. Annually in the faculty are organized days of national culture (Korean, Japanese) and our students actively participate in preparation of these events. In The Centre of enlightment are organized many contests for language about national customs and traditions.
 
Students of Korean department actively take part in High school and International Conference.
 
Students of Japanese department participate in oratorical contest. They were winners of Republic Competition for several times and in competition between U I S countries in Moscow.
Our students of Chinese department, which were taught for exchanges programme in the High schools of China, spend their leisure, learn culture, traditions, nature, history of monuments of the country. Own impressions about staying in this enigmatic and rich thousand – year history of this country they share with their peeres students of Faculty of Oriental philology.
In March 2008 in the Faculty was organized the project “ Stars of East” and compulsory condition of the second stage of contest “ East shooting stars“ , was performing of teams in composition with teachers. “ teachers + students”.
Korean dance with fans was performed by the first course’s students of oriental department and by teacher-volunteer of South Korea – Ang Si Song.
The second course’s students, profession “ Regional study “ and conductor of World Cultures and Civilizations department - S.S. Tankina with a programme “Stars of east”.
Performance of “ Sakura” command, consist of the first course’s students of oriental proffesion, cultures and civilizations pulpit ( conductor - Ahmetova G. K. ), with a participation of Dean of the Faculty A. E. Naurizbaeva in a programme “ Retro”.
The second course’s students of East languages with their manager , professor of “ Turkish language”, G. A. Aliev performed inflammatory East dance.
For the charity “Christmas presents for children” teachers and students prepaired and organized New Year’s Christmas tree with a students’ performance, and also rendered social aid.
Initiators of organization and active participants of New Year’s holiday for orphanage were students of the second course, specialty “ Regional study “- Nurova Nasiba, Samigullina Halida, Kejeneva Janna, Kononenko Marina, Pan Uliya.
