The Сhair of International Economic Relations was founded on the basis of the Chair of Рolitical Economy in 1967. In 1994 the Chair was reorganized as the Chair of International Economic Relations due to training specialists in international relations, international economic.
The 60 percent of the staff are lectures with scientific degrees and titles. The Chair provides teaching of “Principles of Economic Theory” for all specialities at the university. Mainly the Chair conducts lectures and practical classes for students of the following departments: “Economics”, “State and local management”, “Marketing” and “Tourism”.
Scientific activity
Professor Iskaliev M.D. has published 12 books, including 7 textbooks and teaching aids, 1 Kazakh-Russian-English dictionary of market economy terms, 7 brochures, 5 monographs. The latest monograph “Modern view on the economists of the past” in Kazakh was published in 2005.
Since 2000 more than 30 articles have been published in various scientific editions approved by the Attestation and Control Committee of the Ministry of Education and Science of RK. Members of the Chair took part in 12 international and republican scientific-practical conferences.
International cooperation- The Chair received the invitation to take part in the project of   “Partnership to support economic education and research”
